A or B

On the way of life, everyone wants to gain more A's, which needs paying great price. Long time ago, Liu Yong, a famous writer from Taiwan, told a story about his son. He didn’t approve of his son achieving too many A’s, for he thought if his son could spare more time for other things, his son could know more. Lots of B’s are more important than several A’s. Several days before, I read another story. A colleague of the author is a happy girl. Though she does her work neither well nor badly, she enjoys her life very much. The author was so curious about this that he asked her how she could manage her life so well. The girl answered that it was her father that made her change a lot. When she was in her junior school, she made every effort to get better grades and her health was very poor. She felt very tired to do so. Then her father suggested that if she could debase her object, she would have a more happy life. She followed her father’s advice. To her surprise, her life had great changes. She had more time to do some exercises and had more laugher. From then on, she often made moderate goals for herself and achieved them smoothly. And sometimes she could receive unexpected gains for her peace mind to face everything. These two stories made me think a lot. What kind of lives would you like to choose? It depends. Last semester I didn’t get good marks on all the subjects, which meant that I am lack of abilities or that I am not good at taking examinations? I don’t want to accept the former possibility so that I should do something to prove it’s not true. What should I do? What about studying for a doctor degree? It’s so childish that I have this kind of idea. Fortunately, I don’t care about it now. I just want to finish tasks in hand successfully. It’s obvious that I am apt to make one part of life to be the whole life. I know it’s not advisable, but I can’t persuade myself. One of my roommates gave us an open sesame to talk with boys, which is to talk about everything but study with them. However, I always talk about nothing but study with others on line. And it’s of more frequency that I said to them, “I am too busy to talk, sorry!”
