    I was attracted by the name of the well-known book, for I have been thinking about the relationship between sense and sensibility for a long time. Some people think it seems that we are too sensible to express our affections now. I have a different opinion that we can have more abilities of love with more sense. It’s so difficult for me to write something in detail about this topic though it was chosen by myself. Everyone has his or her own opinions about the meaning of life. Some people may like to design their own life according to their belief, while others may like to conform to the voice of their hearts. We can don’t agree with others’ points of view. At the same time we have to respect their choices. I belong to the former kind. I always find it’s too difficult for me to know what the right life is like. At first, I put all my heart into study, for I’m sure it’s the basis of life. When the environment requires me to have some changes after I came here, I decide to meet it bravely though it is not easy. As a person, it’s necessary to harmonize the relationship among himself, other people around him and the environment. It’s cheering that this is not a problem for me any more, for I have made the balance between me and the environment. But the most challengeable problem is still waiting for me. How can I make further progress in study? How can I make a little contribution to the education? The way to construct a theory is unexpectedly difficult. Though we have professors to guide us, the success still depends on ourselves. I’m so fortunate to follow an excellent professor, who is regarded as a thinker. I learn a lot from him. His experience is valuable and so is his advice. However, I still have to construct my own knowledge structure on my own, and the process of construction needs my exploration. For example, when I read books designated by him, my gain depends on my own reading approach and prior knowledge. Gradually I am aware that diligence in the process can’t ensure the reasonability and value of the result. I have carefully learned two professors’ papers for their doctor degrees. It’s very disappointed to find severe contradictions in them, though they are not bad. Not only researcher in our professional, but also some well-known professors in education make obvious errors. It’s so difficult to make some creation in art, especially in education. Even though the theory is logic itself, we can’t ensure it is useful for the practice. For example, during the current reform of education, many extreme reformers are eager to solve all the problems in education by creating lots of new theories and concepts; to the contrary, these abstract theories and plausible concepts confused teachers, who don’t know how to carry out these new theories because the creators give no explanation to them. What’s worse, these creators never decide to tell them, for they don’t know how to do either. Though it is not easy for me to pursue the dreams, I would like to persist in it, for it is difficulties and uncertainty that make the life alluring and interesting. Once my professor said, things without structure can generate things with structure. Maybe I need to give some explanation about this sentence. We consider attitude, emotion, will, value and etc. as things without structure, while knowledge with structure. In fact we know this, but it still encouraged me a lot. Life is to experience.
